FRE DAY CARE FOR CHILDREN IN NEW YORK CITY
Dear Mr. Mayor.
Every day more and more mothers are having babies, the child population is increasing, and many parents are at home because they are babysitting their children in inadequate conditions. We were inform that you are worried small children at home, and you have the opportunity to help them. However, we are convinced that the correct way is giving to the families free day care for 9 hours per day to their children because it will improve education in the New York City, will be jobs opportunity, and day care will provide safety and security for children and community.
Giving free day care to the children 9 hours per day, which will improve education in the New York City? First of all, Because of the cost of day care is expensive in this city, many children are at home with their parents, but their parents are not doing the correct activities and care that they need. As a result, we have childhood with overweight. Because of the poor motivation since their formative years, later they quit and do not finish their school improving the school desertion rate. Families are using their children for depend from the government assistance in different ways, as a result we have population contend themselves. The children need to be motive since their formative years. In the day care, they will be able to learn rules, lessons in order to grow up as independent and confident persons. In day care, the children must follow a schedule; it will teach them to use the time correctly. Secondly, in the day care, children will have to activities together; it let them to interaction with the children of same age and from different cultures. They will be able to play, share food, toys, and make friends in order to be a social person. Later when they go to the school, they will no have problems to take regular class, and we will have successful students. Finally, many mothers who did not have time for to them selves because they were babysitting their children, could go to school in order to improve their life, later they could support their families, and be useful for the society with independent life. In conclusion, with free day care, not only children will get benefit, it will benefit families, city and society in general.
With free nine hours of day care will be jobs opportunity for many people. Fist of all, many young mothers could find jobs in day care; they will be able to earn their own money, to have an independent life, without assistance from the government. It will represent save money for the city and government. Secondly, Day care will be jobs opportunity for students who want to have a par time jobs, they will busy being productive persons. Finally, many mothers will be able to have the day care business, and assist by this way to the rest of population. In conclusion, with free day care many people could find job, it will be jobs opportunity for young teachers, nurses, and other persons who like spend the time with the children.
Living children in day care, it will provide safety, healthy and security environment for the children. First of all, many children who are living at home with their parents, they do not have healthy food, books and adequate toys. Day care is safe place where the city put its regulations, its personal have special training for take care of them. It has special place for each activity, like arts, rest, play, and variety of toys for each age. In this order, the children could have activities for each age. Secondly, in day care the children will have healthy and balanced menu, in order to nourish them in correct way. They teach them the importance of each group of food, and they will have opportunity to taste different kind of food. I knew a day care, whose owner took good care of them; she cooked every day food for them in order to give them fresh food. In spring and summer seasons, she used to go to the park for to exercise with them. There the children had the opportunity socialized and made friends, also they grow up with stongs’bones One opportunity, they collected leafs from the trees, and made little album. This activity, they will remember when they study Different kinds of Leafs in Botanic class. In addition, when the library offered special programs for children, she used to be there doing activities with them. It was very important because the children familiarized with a part of the environment like the library. Finally, the children for to be accept in day care have to have the correct vaccines, and if they are sick, they are taken to the doctor and out from the day care in order to avoid infection to the others.
In conclusion, free day care for the children will be a big solution for children and families, day care will improve education in the city, jobs opportunity for the people, and security and safe environment for our children. They will grow up in sane and safe, and in the future, we will have successful professionals useful for the society with an independent life.
