Imagine is John Lennon’s second solo album, and it is considered the most popular of his solo works. It was released in 1971 and has ten songs, each one with message. One of them was dedicated to his wife, who was his muse of inspiration. It was the most commercial album that he released.

The songs lyrics have been partly inspired from Yoko Ono’s roots poetry in connection with her childhood in Japan during The Second World War. She is a living testimony from the war. The lyrical content of "Imagine" was just what John dreamed that we are all one country, one world, and one family. Imagine all the people living life in peace. Imagine is a controversial song, which message was considerate like anti-religious, anti-nationalistic, anti-conventional, and anti-capitalistic. For me, the song lyrics are like a paradise. I think that John Lennon tried to get reflection from the politics and rich people around the world about the war. Wars only destroy the world. The reason is no political, the real reason is money, and in many cases, it is personal. They must not have to spend the money on war, while many children are in the world with bad nourish, without medication, without schools, and without education. The industrialized countries have to improve the life quality of population of unindustrialized countries. They have to distribute their money with poor people. The rich countries have to worry about the poor countries. The man must not be a wolf of other men. We can live in peace because the man invented the countries, and put the limits and frontiers. God created us free.

Oh Yoko is a 1971 song, written and performed by John Lennon in the album Imagine, and is in the greatest hits compilation. In this song, John Lennon sings to his wife. He expresses his strong feelings through the songs. He showed us how important Yoko was in his life.

Jealous Guy is a song written and performed by John Lennon, which first appeared on his 1971 album image. It is one of the most commonly covered Lennon songs. This song became popular because it reached number one in several countries directly after John Lennon was killed. It shows us an insecure man who fell in love, but his intense feelings did not let him to trust in the person who he loves. Love is an intense feeling, which sometimes causes intense pain in the person who loves without reciprocity. I remember a wise quote about love from my friend. The person who does not know suffer, must start love. I was listening the album, but I do not know too much about the music, and for to do this essay, my husband recommended me to choose this album, so he has a big music collection. I read about John Lennon life, and I found that he was an idol. His songs always have a massage. He was considered unpatriotic and a socialist because his songs and many people have identification with the lyrics of his songs. I will try to listen music in English in order to improve my English pronunciation. With these essays, I am going to remember my special teacher, who shared with us his English know ledges as a generous and funny person. In addition, I will remember the good time that I shared with my classmates where I am the old, but all of they are respectfully.
